A Fire Breakdown Staff is a long rod with Kevlar wicks on each end which breaks down into smaller pieces for easy transport. The Kevlar ends are then soaked in liquid fuel and lit on fire as a performance art form. Staff spinning is similar in nature to baton twirling, but with a longer staff which is twirled or "spun" around the body utilizing arm and wrist movements, creating beautiful circles of fire.
